Portfolio for Manchester Metropolitan University

My hands help me to see.
Newspaper girl.
This photograph was taken in my first year at college, and I still have a huge amount of love for it. I had the idea of doing ‘recycled fashion’ for quite a while before starting this project so was really excited to finally see the outcome. The photographer I researched to get my ideas on the lighting and colours I would be using was ‘Juergen Teller’, his messy sets and bright lighting made a big impact on how this photograph turned out.

Bridge Project
This is another one of my favourite photographs from a recent project which was a live brief for a sensory garden. The textures and tones look great together and I believe will help people to view the nature of the world better, in a more interesting way.

Nature fashion.

Movement.

Flower girl.

Cats life.

Icy glare.
I absolutely adore this photograph, the bright colours and soft tones work really well to create the cold icy effect I was going for.I also think the models pose and expression contribute a huge amount. I love the dark lipstick on her pale white face and light hair. Also really like the way the models face is framed by the tree branches.

I am an enthusiastic outgoing individual who is always eager to achieve better than what is expected. I have a positive attitude to all tasks that I undertake. I believe I have the attitude and focus that will allow me to flourish in improving my skills in photography and becoming the photographer I dream to be. I think coming to Manchester Metropolitan University will help me to be guided in the perfect path into becoming someone I aspire to become in the future. I also hope to leave a lasting impression on the individuals and groups I work with and the people I work alongside.
